Plasma Technology

PlasMed is dedicated to providing minimally invasive solutions through Radio Frequency Plasma Surgical Systems — a precisely controlled approach that works at the molecular level.

Radio Frequency energy flows through an active electrode and a return electrode, saturated in a conductive saline solution. This creates a precisely focused plasma sheath around the electrodes.

The plasma sheath consists of massively charged particles with a powerful oxidising effect. The energy generated is sufficient to dissociate organic molecular bonds within tissue — causing the tissue to rapidly dissolve while remaining at a relatively low temperature, minimising thermal damage to surrounding structures.

Mechanism

RF energy + saline solution = focused plasma sheath. Charged particles break molecular bonds at the target tissue — controlled vaporisation without excessive heat.

Low-temperature plasma enables precise tissue ablation with minimal damage to surrounding tissue, reducing recovery times and improving patient outcomes.
